  1. Back in 2013, DreamWorks Animation was in the middle of a lawsuit that was heading to court related to the Kung Fu Panda franchise when the plaintiff, artist Jayme Gordon, suddenly dropped his complaint. Four years later that same artist has been sentenced to two years in prison for attempting to defraud DreamWorks animation of $12 million dollars. He has also been sentenced to pay $3 million in restitution to the company, which spent that much on legal fees during the original lawsuit. Here's what happened. It seemed like a really strange move when Jayme Gordon had backed out of the lawsuit he had put together back in 2013. At the time, the lawsuit was set to head to trial, and Gordon seemed at the outset to be in a pretty good position. He had already been a part of a plot by DreamWorks Animation to set in motion a summary judgment motion, and a federal judge had denied that, effectively moving his case, which claimed he had produced artwork similar to the characters found in the 2008 flick Kung Fu Panda, forward to trial. He had also noted he had created the character in the 1990s and had even copyrighted similar artwork to the movie in 2000, prior to the DreamWorks film's release. Then it all came crumbling down, as DreamWorks Animation lawyers argued Jayme Gordon had actually taken his own Kung Fu Panda artwork from a coloring book with strikingly similar illustrations. He had also backdated and even fabricated drawings of his characters in the hopes he could achieve a big payout. In 2015, the U.S. Attorneys office went after him for fraud, noting that copyright laws are meant to protect individuals and not help them to try to scheme their way into big payouts from large companies. According to Deadline, in November of this year, Jayme Gordon was found guilty of both fraud and perjury. However, he had to wait until May for sentencing to commence. Prior to this week's big announcement, word on the street was he could have earned up to 25 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. He got off light on the prison sentence. He did not get off light when it came to paying back DreamWorks Animation. Copyright law can get really complicated. It was only a few days ago that Khloe Kardashian actually got sued for sharing a photo of herself on social media that another person had actually taken. In this case, it looks like Gordon was trying to earn money for an idea he had not, in fact, created. As for DreamWorks Animation, the company has made a killing off of the Kung Fu Panda franchise, bringing in $521 million globally for Kung Fu Panda 3, which hit theaters last year. Other potential sequels to the original movie have been rumored to eventually be in the cards.
  2. After the huge success of The Fate Of The Furious, and with Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 due out this weekend, it's safe to say that the summer blockbuster season is now well and truly upon us. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the costliest of all of these films; its budget allegedly came in at around $320 million, which means that the film is going to have to make an awful amount of money in order for it to recoup its costs. We now have our first indication of how much Pirates: Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is going to make when it opens at the end of the month, as it has been predicted that the nautical adventure will gross somewhere between $90 million and $100 million. If the above proves to be true, Disney would undoubtedly be very happy with this return for the film. While this amount would be quite a bit lower than both the $135 million opening for Dead Man's Chest and $114 million that At World's End brought in in its first few days, it would match On Stranger Tides' opening weekend total of $90.1 million. On Stranger Tides is currently the second highest grossing installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, as it ultimately went on to gross $1.045 billion back in 2011, which was just short of Dead Man's Chest's $1.066 billion in 2006. Disney will be slightly relieved at these projections from Deadline, especially considering just how poorly Johnny Depp's recent films have performed at the box office. Alice Through The Looking Glass was a huge flop last year, and Mortdecai, Transcendence, The Lone Ranger, and Dark Shadows have each been financial disappointments since On Stranger Tides was released. Johnny Depp's highly publicized divorce from Amber Heard only increased chatter that audiences would avoid Dead Men Tell No Tales, too. Disney also took a risk when they selected Memorial Day weekend as Dead Men Tell No Tales' release date. That's because X-Men: Apocalypse, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Tomorrowland, and Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time have each underperformed in this slot in recent years. It now looks as though Dead Men Tell No Tales will help to restore some faith in the four-day weekend, while it will also receive some help and healthy competition from Dwayne Johnson's R-rated Baywatch reboot, which is expected to bring in around $45 million and $50 million. You can decide whether or not Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is for you by watching its trailer below. The early speculation is that Dead Men Tell No Tales is a worthy addition to the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, as the footage shown at CinemaCon recently was met with positive results. We'll get to see if it can build upon this response when Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is released on May 26.
  3. [YOUTUBE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihgY2OyRvFY[/YOUTUBE] Here’s your first trailer for the 3D re-release of James Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Incredibly, the groundbreaking special effects of the 1991 sci-fi classic still hold up to this day. T2 is also one of the ultra-rare sequels that most believe surpasses the original. Between Arnold Schwarzennegger’s iconic performance as the T-800, mind-blowing CGI, and relentless action set pieces, T2 is essential viewing for sci-fi fans. Terminator 2: Judgment Day was such a visionary effort that barely any of its visuals would even need updating for a modern audience. The T-1000, especially, still looks stunningly convincing for a nearly 30-year-old special effect. But for the upcoming 3D re-release of Cameron’s classic blockbuster, due out in August, the director has assembled a team to clean up and remaster each individual frame of the film before converting it to 3D for is return to theaters. Fans can get their first taste of how Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D is going to look in the new trailer, released on Thursday by distributor Distrib Films. You can watch the trailer in the video above. It features a number of clips from the film, some with noticeable updates to the effects — including a shot from the post-apocalyptic battle in the opening sequence. The painstaking 3D restoration process took almost a year, according to Distrib Films’ official website. Cameron’s company Lightstorm Entertainment, whose filmography began with T2 and also includes Titanic and Avatar, oversaw the project from start to finish. Cameron’s team restored the original 35mm cut frame-by-frame to 4K quality. Stereo D (The Fate of the Furious, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) then converted the 4K version of the film to 3D. T2 3D overall looks markedly sharpened from the original film. T2 is one of the few sci-fi films made in the 20th century that could pass for a film made today, which only speaks further to Cameron’s monumental achievement. The fact that the effects only needed minimal updates and that T2’s transition to 3D appears virtually seamless just goes to show why it’s a landmark in American cinema, regardless of genre. Despite the great promise of the Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D trailer, purists and die-hard fans may still be off-put or concerned about the updated effects. For some, it may give too much of a vibe of the controversial “Special Edition” re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy. But it’s unlikely that Cameron created his own “Han shot first” moment, and T2 is simply too thrilling of a ride for any CGI touch-ups to really matter. For any fan of the franchise, T2 3D is a must-see experience. Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D is expected to hit theaters on August 25. [Screen Rant]
  4. Modern science-fiction in many ways begins with H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds, the 1898 novel about a Martian invasion of planet Earth. Wells’ book has spawned numerous film adaptations, most notable among them being the 1953 version produced by George Pal and the 2005 version directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise. In some ways, the most culturally impactful version of War of the Worlds was not a film adaptation but the radio play done by Orson Welles in 1938 and embellished with fake news reports of an alien invasion of New Jersey that had some listeners thinking the planet was really under attack. The War of the Worlds adaptations mentioned above all had one interesting thing in common: All were set in America, and took place in a time contemporaneous with the adaptation. A newly planned TV version of Wells’ novel (not the one MTV is reportedly developing) promises to take us back to the book’s original setting and time-period — Surrey, England at the turn of the 20th Century — making it potentially the most faithful-ever adaptation. As reported by Variety, the new War of the Worlds has been ordered up by the BBC as part of an 11-series commission, and is set to go before cameras early in 2018. The three-episode series will be written by Peter Harness who has previously worked on Doctor Who, Wallander, and Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. Harness confirmed (via North-West Evening Mail) that his version will take audiences back to Wells’ original Victorian setting: “I’m feeling phenomenally lucky to be writing The War Of The Worlds, and blowing up gigantic swathes of the home counties at the dawn of the 20th Century. Wells’ book is ground zero for all modern science fiction, and like all the best sci-fi, manages to sneak in some pretty astonishing comments on what it is to be a human being too.” Harness talked about his ambitions for the series, which will include more than just Martian Fighting Machines blasting helpless humans with their heat rays: “I’m hoping to follow in the great man’s footsteps by making a terrifying, Martian-packed series which manages to be emotional, characterful, and – deep breath, dare I say it – even political at the same time.” Wells’ novel is a first-person narrative about an unnamed man experiencing the arrival of the Martians, witnessing the futility of humanity’s efforts to battle the invaders and scrambling to survive as the aliens lay waste to the English countryside. Famously, the story ends when the aliens are killed by viruses which human beings have long-since become resistant to, but to which the invaders have no immunity. War of the Worlds could be seen as a seminal work in multiple genres that have become important in modern-day film: alien invasion, survival-horror and Twilight Zone/M. Night Shyamalan twist-at-the-end. Prior adaptations of Wells’ book have tended to see the narrative in terms of the politics of their own day (Wells’ book was itself seen by many as a commentary on late-Victorian British imperialism). George Pal’s 1953 version became a somewhat-typical vehicle for Eisenhower-era nuclear paranoia, while Spielberg’s 2005 film rather blatantly called up post-9/11 anxiety via images directly inspired by the terrorist attacks on New York City. Peter Harness evidently will not shy away from tackling Brexit-era political issues in his own adaptation of Wells’ durable classic. [Screen Rant]
  5. [YOUTUBE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FBlIvF-LmM[/YOUTUBE] A new UK trailer has arrive for Guy Ritchie’s reimagining, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Drawing from numerous sources of legend and literature surrounding the British figure of medieval histories and romances, Ritchie’s take on the King Arthur story stars Charlie Hunnam as the eponymous monarch. With King Arthur preview screenings selling out at the box office, Ritchie and Warner Bros. Pictures are aiming to recreate the success of their previous collaborations, including the Robert Downey Jr.-headlined Sherlock Holmes films. Serving to tell the origin story of Hunnam as the young Arthur, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword promises a wholly original take on the well-worn English myth that will undoubtedly take more than a little creative license with its source narrative. Backed by the incongruously booming strains of Led Zeppelin’s “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You”, the new UK trailer for Ritchie’s adaptation further promises an off-the-wall interpretation of the classic Arthurian legend. The King Arthur UK trailer (see the video above) provides moviegoers with another thrilling glimpse at the thrill ride adventure soon to come in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword proper. Hunnam and Jude Law (as the film’s villain) look to be more than worthy adversaries in the roles of young Arthur and the mad tyrant Vortigern respectively, and with any luck the rest of the cast and crew will fulfill their roles with just as much gusto and presence. Arthurian legend has long been a staple of medieval fantasy epics on the big screen in the past, and as such King Arthur: Legend of the Sword will undoubtedly be compared to such wildly contrasting contemporary classics as the 1981 John Boorman drama Excaliber, the 1967 musical comedy Camelot, and even the cult-classic satire Monty Python and the Holy Grail from 1975. As such, Hunnam will have quite the sizable pair of shoes to fill in the role of King Arthur, but with any luck Ritchie will manage to guide him and the audience through the material with relative ease. Based on all of the footage released thus far, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword should provide for a fun fantasy-romp for those familiar with the classic Arthurian legends, as well as general moviegoers hoping for a more lighthearted medieval epic compared to the likes of Game of Thrones on television. Question is, will Legend of the Sword fly high or fall hard at the box office, having to compete with the second weekend of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2? [Screen Rant]
  6. YouTube is planning a new slate of ad-supported original programming to start this year, the company announced at the NewFronts conference in New York today. The shows, which will be free to view and not part of the company’s YouTube Red subscription service, are part of a broader push from the Google-owned video site to establish itself as a place for premium programming alongside Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. In the process, YouTube hopes it will attract premium advertising as well, helping it shed a somewhat tarnished image that, as of late, has been associated with advertiser boycotts over hate videos and other questionable user-uploaded content. Kevin Hart and Ellen DeGeneres are early partners As part of its push into more original programming, YouTube has signed up comedian Kevin Hart and TV host Ellen DeGeneres as its first two high-profile entertainers. At the NewFronts conference in New York this evening, Hart said he’s linking up with YouTube to get closer to his fans. “If you know me, if you follow me, you know that I embrace social media on a very high level,” Hart told the crowd. He also mentioned that, on his most recent Europe tour, fans kept mentioning YouTube as a source of discovery. “That's how I got my international fan base.” Hart’s show, “Kevin Hart: What the Fit?,” will be a workout-focused program distributed through his own YouTube channel, Laugh Out Loud Network. DeGeneres, on the other hand, will use her show to give fans backstage looks at the making of her talkshow. Katy Perry and Demi Lovato also announced new behind-the-scenes shows with YouTube at NewFronts, while TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest is confirmed to be producing a music competition, “Best.Cover.Ever,” to debut on the site later this year. Beyond traditional celebrities, YouTube is leaning on its existing online talent with two shows , one from internet comedy dup Rhett & Link and another from high-speed camera effects specialists The Slow Mo Guys. According to Bloomberg, YouTube will invest hundreds of millions of dollars over the next year to produce more than 40 new original shows and further build out its YouTube Red service. [The Verge]
  7. A Gears of War movie is currently in development, and Universal Pictures has finally signed a writer. Deadline reports that Shane Salerno, the screenwriter handling all four of the upcoming Avatar sequels, is now writing the Gears screenplay. Universal and Microsoft announced that a Gears movie was in the works last fall. Rod Fergusson, head of the developer studio and Microsoft subsidiary The Coalition, said at the time that the film was the “next logical step” for the billion-dollar franchise. "Writing an original story in the ‘Gears’ universe" It’s now Salerno’s job to see that next step through. The new film won’t be based on any of the entries in the Gears video game saga, but instead will reportedly be an original story set in the same universe. It’ll be interesting to see what Salerno brings to the table. In addition to writing the upcoming Avatar follow-ups, he worked on the screenplays for Armageddon and Oliver Stone’s Savages, and even co-wrote the story for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. There’s no word yet on a release date, but an announcement will almost certainly be made in the months ahead. [The Verge]
  8. After briefly cameoing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last year, Aquaman is finally making his full debut later this year in Justice League, but it's in 2018 when the half human, half Atlantean hero will snag the spotlight for himself. Yesterday Warner Bros officially announced that Aquaman has begun shooting, and along with the production announcement came confirmation of who will comprise the main cast. But these folks are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg when it comes to all the actors who will appear in Aquaman. For instance, it looks like a young actor named Otis Dhanji will play a teenage Arthur Curry in the movie. IMDB has granted a request to add Otis Dhanji's name to the Aquaman cast list on the website. The document provided to verify that Dhanji is involved in Aquaman lists him as playing Arthur Curry at age 13. Hailing from Australia, which is where Aquaman is currently rolling cameras, this will be Dhanji's first movie role. His most notable credit before now has been appearing in the crime drama stage production Mortido. The document also listed the overall Aquaman shoot lasting until September 29, although Dhanji working six of those days, five of which are in May. You can see what Dhanji looks like below. So now we know that Aquaman will be flashing back to see what Arthur Curry was like as a young lad, years before he started walking down the superhero path and swinging that golden trident. That's not too surprising considering that the DC Extended Universe has peered back into the pasts of its main Trinity of heroes. Man of Steel showed Clark Kent at ages 9 and 13 using his Kryptonian abilities, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice showed a 9-year-old Bruce Wayne watching his parents being gunned down and one of the Wonder Woman trailers showed a little Diana learning about the gods from her mother. Hippolyta. Perhaps The Flash and Cyborg movies will do the same. As for what we'll see young Arthur doing, that's hard to say, although given that he was raised on land among humanity, presumably he'll be spending some quality time with his dad, Thomas, played by Temuera Morrison. While Otis Dhanji will be performing Arthur Curry as a teenager, Jason Momoa will be the one who handles the Aquaman duties as an adult, fresh off his adventure with the other Justice Leaguers. Along with Momoa and Temuera Morrison, Aquaman's main cast includes Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta and Dolph Lundgren as Nereus. Aquaman dives into theaters on December 21, 2018.
  9. He may not be at Sherlock Holmes' level of fame, but Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot still ranks high among the collection of fictional detectives. The mustachioed investigator is best known from the 1934 novel Murder on the Orient Express, which was made into a movie in 1974 and will be tackled thematically again later this year. This time around it's Kenneth Branagh tackling Christie's beloved tale, and along with directing it, he's also starring as Poirot. There are plenty of other Poirot tales ripe for adaptation, and if given the opportunity, Branagh is game to play the investigator again in another movie. Branagh stated: I would be thrilled, I must say. I have enjoyed it enormously, to delve into the nature of the character, to read more of the books, to understand, to admire with greater intensity what Agatha Christie's talents were. That's been really a great, great creative treat. So, I'd be absolutely delighted to do more, yeah. Those who've read or seen Murder on the Orient Express know that it doesn't set up a traditional sequel, but given that Agatha Christie wrote 33 novels (and over 50 short stories) over her lifetime featuring the detective, it would be easy enough for Kenneth Branagh to play him in another story. However, Branagh also made it clear to EW that him reprising Poirot is contingent on the new Murder on the Orient Express movie being a box office success. Its competition on opening weekend will include Daddy's Home 2, The Star and Paddington 2, as well as folks coming in to see Thor: Ragnarok and A Bad Moms Christmas a week late. So if you want to see Branagh back wearing that ridiculous mustache and solving crimes, make sure you reflect that with your money. While Albert Finney is the only other actor besides Kenneth Branagh to play Hercule Poirot in a Murder on the Orient Express theatrical movie, plenty of other actors have played the character over the decades, Tony Randall, Peter Ustinov and Alfred Molina. The actor who has the most experience with the character is David Suchet, who played him in the TV series Agatha Christie's Poirot from 1989 to 2013, which included a Murder on the Orient Express adaptation. Branagh, however, will have the benefit of playing Poirot in a major Hollywood production, thus introducing the character to a lot of moviegoers who'd never heard of him before. Like the original novel and 1974 movie, the new Murder on the Orient Express will remain set in the 1930s and follow Hercule Poirot solving a mystery aboard the namesake train, requiring him to interview an assortment of colorful characters. Along with Kenneth Branagh, the main cast includes Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Josh Gad, Penelope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, Leslie Odom Jr., Olivia Colman and Lucy Boynton. Kenneth Branagh's Murder on the Orient Express arrives in theaters on November 10.
  10. Since 1983, A Christmas Story has made audiences laugh, smile and remember their own Christmas dreams come true, creating a holiday institution for all to enjoy. With its status as an American classic well cemented over three decades of tradition, it was only a matter of time before the house was made into a monument for all to celebrate their own memories of Bob Clark's legendary film. And after years of serving as a museum to the movie's success, a new chapter is opening in the story of A Christmas Story's famed abode: it's about to become a place for fans to stay. Starting this summer, A Christmas Story's House & Museum will be opening its doors for folks to rest their heads in the same spot where Ralphie, Randy and the rest of the Parker family slept in the actual film. This marks another milestone for Brian Jones, the fan who won the bid for the house's ownership on eBay back in 2004. Opening the house as the museum back in 2006, the attraction has already served numerous fans looking to stake their own piece of holiday excitement. But before you go looking to make your reservations, there's some key figures you'll want to keep in mind. June 1st marks the beginning of the house & museum's rental period, however that's only good if you don't care when you stay there, or if you're a fan of the underrated spiritual sequel A Summer Story. That being said, if you wanted to celebrate A Christmas Story's proper anniversary, you should look into booking the house for November 18th. The release date of the Bob Clark classic will put you closer to the peak season rates of December's $1,995 a night asking price. But you can knock a solid grand off the going rate for that particular date, despite the fact that it'll surely be a far cry from the June rate of $495 a night. While the rates for A Christmas Story's House and Museum may seem a bit steep, keep in mind that you are getting a full house for this rate. This isn't just access to a room and the backyard's target practice range. But even if you're a casual fan or a dyed in the wool obsessive, the chance to stay in a cinematically historical house is a pretty big reward for such decent rates. So if you're interested, get your friends together, pool some money and book a vacation that could only happen in the movies. A Christmas Story is available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD, and will always be on TBS for 24 hours starting Christmas Eve. To book your stay at the house itself, click here.
  11. When you have tough questions that need answering fast, sometimes it's a good idea to go to Mother for the answers. Though in the case of Katherine Waterson's Daniels, her source of information spells that name a little differently, as she consults the ship's computer Muthur for a variety of requests in this new Alien: Covenant clip. Of course, as things tend to do in this series, the scenario dives into harsh and desperate times quite fast... In the space of a minute, Alien: Covenant's Daniels goes from asking simple innocuous questions involving oatmeal, poker hands, and travel times to requesting bigger pieces of information. You know, like if there's any ammunition on the ship, or where the painkillers happen to be. But perhaps the scariest request of all is the one that closes the video: Where is this goddamned thing? Helpful as always, Muthur lets Daniels know that danger's about to drop in from above for a kind of expected visit. The best part about this clip, is the two callbacks it includes from classic Alien films. For starters, Muthur was the ship computer from Alien, so it looks like Alien: Covenant will establish the computer system as a sort of default operating system for all Weyland-Yutani owned spacecraft. When you think about the long view of the series' history with technology, particularly Ash from Alien and David from Prometheus, you can start to see why this would be bad news for us humans. But the other really cool reference to the legacy of terror the Alien series has provided is that of Daniels trying to track the Xenomorph, only to learn that it's right above her. Folks who prefer Aliens over any other entry in the series will know that this is similar to the moment where Ripley and the Colonial Marines were tracking their respective bugs with personal radar screens, only to learn that they were right on top of them. It's an interesting reference for director Ridley Scott to make, considering that was director James Cameron's doing, but it's still something that helps Alien: Covenant feel all that more close to home. Callbacks aside, one thing is certain: Alien Covenant is going to be harsh and unforgiving on the crew of its titular ship, and Katherine Waterson's Daniels looks like she's going to be put through the ringer. Let's just hope us fans aren't in a similar situation, when the film opens on May 19th.
  12. Some time back, Joe Jonas voiced an interest in doing another Camp Rock, the hit Disney Channel Original Movie that starred himself, his brothers (who were still The Jonas Brothers back then) and Demi Lovato. But the twist was that he wanted to do something interesting with it, and make it an R-rated film. We all had our chuckles at the thought of a Disney movie with swears and went on our merry way, but Joe isn't the only Jonas who'd be down for an R-rated return. Nick Jonas has now echoed a similar interest as well. If the right thing comes together, I think that'd be fun. It's a really delicate thing because [they're two films] really beloved by fans. So I think for it to work, it'd have to be some creative new version where we get a writing team and do something special. Nick Jonas spoke with People about the possibility of ever making one more Camp Rock movie, and the singer is definitely not against the idea. But if you're going to return to a movie series as beloved by its fanbase as Camp Rock, then Jonas proposes that you need to move in a creative direction to make it worthwhile. In this case, one of those directions is to go for an R-rating, which is an odd choice for a TV movie that aired on Disney Channel and was aimed at teens, tweens, and everything inbetweens. For those who you who didn't watch the Disney Channel in 2008 and 2010, Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, were Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM) that followed a group of teenagers who attended a musical summer camp called -- you guessed it -- Camp Rock. The movies were a platform for then teenaged Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, as well as Demi Lovato -- all of whom would go on to have successful careers in music. To date, Camp Rock is the third highest rated DCOM of all time, behind High School Musical 2 and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. The idea for an R-rated Camp Rock 3 was first proposed by Joe Jonas, who told Marie Claire that they could do the "graduating days" and "make it kinda dark." Apparently, it's an idea he, his brothers and Demi Lovato have talked/joked about for some time. Lovato herself further explained the idea on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, elaborating that fans of the film had grown-up by now, so it makes sense to make a film that reflects that. That's a solid point, and now Nick Jonas is further backing it up. Is an R-rated Camp Rock 3 on the way? My guess would be an emphatic no. Hell, they'd be lucky if they got a PG-13 rating, but certainly crazier things have happened in this world. What do you all think? Is Camp Rock coming back for more singing, dancing, swearing, and perhaps mild nudity? Sound off in the comments below.
