I recently changed from Kaspersky to AVG Free to save my hard-earned money.

And for those of you too cheap to pay for good security, I can only recommend AVG free.

Works like a charm.

If you, though are new to the downloading scene, I recommend using a paid anti-virus, since "new people" are often much more exposed to virus, because they download whatever seems right :)

Microsoft Security Essentials.

I hate everything Microsoft make, but this shit is free and seems to work.

I use Kaspersky because it does not eat too much your system resources, it's easy to handle and efficient.

Although there's no 100% secure antivirus...

Microsoft Security Essentials running with COMODO firewall only, and an occasional clean with malwarebytes is what I find the most effective.
