I used to use NOD32 but it killed my comp, now I use KIS 2010. I am not completely satisfied with it either because I need to turn it off sometimes when DL-ing around 4 MB/s cause it rly affects my comps performance.

Microsoft Security Essentials. And Avira Free Personal Edition are both solid. The latter for a more power user feeling.

When I use uTorrent in the background, I close Kaspersky AV, I open AIMP2 and listen to digitally imported music - online radio [with huge numbers of genres] and I go play S4 League ! ! !

PS: I have an old 2600+ Sempron, but everything goes so smoothly ;) Who needs Intel i7 ?! :P

ESET NOD32 (pay) or Microsoft Security Essentials (free) seem to be very low foot print...

just uninstalled Smart Security and installed AVG : ) . I think I will keep AVG , but it needs lots of resources.
