The Avast Free Version that is available from File Hippo. Its easy to use, updates are faultless and it does the job. I cannot recommend anything else.

I use Avast Free Edition and he protects me agains all viruses.It knows all false-positive viruses.

Eset smart security... used to use PCTools Internet Security before Windows 7, but it was really resource hungry in windows 7 so I switched... Eset is not as powerful in terms of firewall configuration, but I like how lightweight it is

My friend uses AVG but i've tried it and find it slows the crap out of my computer XD
