Video game developer Capcom is announcing that the rampant rage quitting problem currently associated with Street Fighter V is set to be addressed before the end of the month when the company is aiming to deliver another update for the game.

The information comes from a message from the official Twitter account associated with the series, but no information is offered at the moment on how the developers are planning to accomplish this goal.

Capcom is also not saying whether this new major update for Street Fighter V will also contain tweaks to gameplay and other new features or if it is designed only to deal with rage quitting and the negative effects that it has on the community.

At the moment, the game is trying to isolate all those who have a high disconnect rate, without making a distinction between those who drop out of a match before they are losing and those who have legitimate connection issues.

They also lose some of the League Points, a system designed to keep them in the match by making it slightly more interesting to get through a defeat than simply quit when victory is out of reach.

The new system will probably seek to make sure that rage quitters are paired with one another in Street Fighter V to make sure that they do not affect the rest of the player community.

Street Fighter V is set to get more content in the coming months

Rage quitting has been a problem in the new fighting game from Capcom since it was launched and many fans were annoyed to see that the developers delivered such a title without thinking of a way to deal with one of the biggest problems affecting the online side of the genre.

Since launch, the studio has also introduced a new training mode, giving players more information about how the moves of each character work, and has added a new combatant while also enabling the shop, although real world money transactions are not yet live.

According to Capcom, the plan is to launch a new major update in May that will improve Street Fighter V even more, and during summer the plan is to introduce bigger story modes for all characters while also adding more fighters to the roster.

The company also has big competitive plans for its new release and says that it wants to keep delivering updates for years.
