Ps3 seems better, but friendwise it isnt for me,

most of my friends have xbox not ps3

and xbox dont get hacked like psn servers lol

If u are rich enough to buy expensive original Gamess everything so PS3 will be better

But if u cant afford so much money for games so prefer buy a xbox-360 because u can play hacked games on xbox-360 so you would not spend much money on games :)

True, but i believe you could also hack the PS and it isnt really cheaper beacuase you have to pay yo play online with xbox

If you want value for money, go for the xbox. I cant see any difference having mine side by side.. the only real difference is the blu-ray plyer or the playstation. And to be honest i prefer the xbox home space, and the fact you pay money to get a decent online experience with out it getting hacked!

xbox is way better multiplayer

sum people prefer the way the controllers feel to them i personally like ps3 controllers over xbox but thats a preference

I think this is a very much personal preference kind of debate,

PS3 for the ability to upgrade your HDD easily without forking out millions for the 360 official HDD.

360 for xboxlive store, come on.. It is a much better store.

I would choose PS3 because actually I like devices and games of Sony itself and because there are some masterpieces released for PS3 exclusively (for example, God of War III) ;)

PS3 is a better system with better graphics but it's way more expensive and the games are a bit more expensive too. If you'd going to double it up as a blu-ray player for whatever you use as a media center then I think it may make sense but otherwise it's a little pricey

I was a Playstation-only man from when I got my first Ps1, But have been converted to 360 nowadays. Overall I find the Xbox live service to be smoother and more user friendly than the ps3's.

Also, you can't go past the xbox only titles like Fable and GOW. Both GREAT games xD

Price-wise, an Xbox 360 would be cheaper. PS3 has more powerful hardware, so it is capable of a little bit better graphics, but often gets the shaft because games for both systems have to run well on the Xbox as well. Both systems are good quality now that Microsoft mostly fixed the overheating issues. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by duration (life?), but both will run for many years if treated well. If you are a DLC person or like downloading games from the marketplace, or plan on using the system for media storage, then more GB's will come in handy, otherwise it really doesn't matter. If you play a lot of multiplayer games online, then hands down go with the Xbox.

I have a PS3 and love it. I chose it over an Xbox because I needed a good 3D Bluray player.

I have them both, initially i bought a PS3 back in 2007, loved it and the games/graphics, overall user feel and experience and gaming quality xbox wins, bought it in 2010 the sole reason i have it is gears of war and it has a very smooth gaming system

I want both PS3 and 360, but i feel that ps3 is more powerful than 360, while 360 has a plethora of games ...

ps3 has a crazy few titles available only for ps network, that rock too
