Traktor Pro is excellent sofware. It is what I use at home with my dj rig. But to really get the most out of it a controller helps.

I'm using it with an NI Kontrol S2. Brilliant piece of hardware and relatively cheap for what it does. Your quality of mixing will grow exponentially when running on hardware like this.

Virtual DJ does the trick, but the thing for DJ's is that you need to invest in good expensive equipment. Unless you have a good budget, it's hard to mix using only music programs.

I have messed around with Virtual DJ for quite a long time. However just playing around really I don't have any awesome skills.

Can anyone recommend a beginner piece of hardware that I can combine with this? Not looking for anything super expensive but nothing way too cheap.

Also can anyone recommend a good tutorial site to learn more?
