HOW TO MAKE A RINGTONE FOR IPHONE. Things you will need: Music, Iphone, Itunes. 1. First open iTunes, find a song you want to make your ringtone, and the part you want to make as your ringtone. 2. Right-click on the song and select get info, in that pop-up go to the options tab, then select the time you want your ringtone to start playing, click ok to see if it starts where you want it to. (if you have the patience you can get it to the millisecond) (a ringtone should not exceed 30 seconds, so you have to select and end time as well) 3. Once you have it playing where you want it to start right-click on the song and click “Create AAC Version” wait till you hear a ‘ding’ noise it should take about 5 seconds if you have done it right. 4. Now you should have 2 copies of the same song, 1 is the original song, the other should be about 30 seconds, depending on how long you made it, right-click on the short one, and click “Show in Windows Explorer. 5. In the windows that pops up you will have the song there in “m4a” format, rename this to “m4r”, open it in iTunes and sync it to your phone. CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE MADE YOUR OWN RINGTONE
