If you aren't writing good material people like, less people pay to see what you're selling, almost every tv show and movie focus's solely some form of politics liberal or conservative . The writers then subsequently get paid less because there's less money coming in because it's going to independent creators who make material people want to see, not some forced fringe Liberal or Conservative agenda nonsense that's tiresome to listen to. Perhaps the writers can use the break to study basic economics? Give people what they want and they will pay for it, Not very hard to figure out.
