So apparently when they slapped the tagline “The rules have changed” on all the posters (including the new one below for Optimus Prime) for the upcoming “Transformers” movie, they totally meant it. NBC's sci-fi series Heroes is being revived as a 13-episode limited series, with creator Tim Kring back at the helm but a new cast of characters and a self-contained storyline that's "shrouded in secrecy." The series, which aired from 2006-2010, will return in 2015 as Heroes Reborn, NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke announced Saturday, adding that some former cast members might "pop" back in for cameos. The characters and plots will be introduced in a digital series that will precede the TV premiere. Heroes was a big hit in its first season, averaging 14.5 million viewers, but ratings declined sharply afterward as some fans began to sour on its heavily serialized story about a group of people with superpowers.

The upcoming six-episode second part of Being Human's fourth season will be the Syfy drama's swan song, with the April 7 closer serving as a series finale. "Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons and we sincerely thank them and the series" production company Muse Entertainment for their hard work," the network said. "They've saved the best for last with the final six episodes that revisit the story's beginning, leading to a not-to-be-missed send-off for Aidan, Sally, Josh and Nora." Netflix is resurrecting Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The streaming service will debut a 13-episode sixth and final installment of the animated series on March 7. Titled The Lost Missions, the season promises to reveal "some of the deepest mysteries of the conflict between the light and the dark sides of the Force leading to a series finale." An intrepid clone trooper discovers a shocking secret, Anakin Skywalker's closest relationship is tested to its limits, and what Master Yoda discovers while investigating the disappearance of a Jedi could forever change the balance of power in the galaxy. Under the multi-year deal with Disney/ABC TV Group, Netflix will be the exclusive subscription service for the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, including several director's cut episodes never seen on TV, as well as the 2008 feature film. This marks the first time any Star Wars content has been available on Netflix. It also expands the fast growing relationship between Netflix and Lucasfilm parent Disney. Top Gear will return for more series, says exec Andy Wilman Top Gear exec Andy Wilman has said that there is no end in sight for the show. Wilman told Broadcast that talks about future series will soon commence with hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, whose current deals expire in 2015. "When we look stupid or when we think we are flogging a dead horse [we'll stop], but that hasn't happened this series," the executive producer argued. "It's better than the last series, which was a bit ropey. "There's clearly an appetite, it's still there. So, we'll start talking [about future series] soon." The latest series of Top Gear opened with 5.34m viewers earlier this month, with the most recent episode pulling in 5.55m on Sunday, February 23. Wilman previously stated that the motoring show provides viewers with "the path to 9-year-old escapism".
