The band first told fans back in January about their plans to reform, play live shows and record new music

Bombay Bicycle Club have announced their first headline show since confirming their return to action.

The four-piece went on hiatus in 2015, but announced their reunion earlier this year as they revealed to fans in a short statement that they’d reconvened late last year and realised “what a good thing we have” as a band.

Bombay Bicycle Club were announced last month as one of the headliners at August’s Wilderness Festival, and the band have now confirmed details of their first headline show to be announced since their return. They’ll play at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, New York on October 7.

As the above post states, pre-sale for tickets will begin tomorrow (March 20) at 10am local time – and you’ll be able to grab those tickets when they go on sale here.

It seems highly likely that Bombay Bicycle Club will play a number of gigs before or around the time of both their Wilderness and Brooklyn Steel dates, with the band also confirming today that “many more tour dates [will] be announced soon”.

As well as announcing their return to touring, Bombay Bicycle Club told fans earlier this year that “the joy we were getting out of playing the old songs seemed to naturally lead us onto working on new material, so we’re becoming immersed in that as we speak. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we have something new for you guys to hear.”

Their last album, ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’, was released in February 2014.
