T.I. and The Game have also responded to Black's remarks

Kodak Black’s music has been banned for an LA radio station after he made insensitive comments about Nipsey Hussle’s girlfriend.

Hussle was shot and killed in Los Angeles one week ago (March 31). He was in a long-term relationship with actor Lauren London, with whom he had a son, Kross.

In an Instagram Live broadcast yesterday (April 6), Black made remarks that suggested he would give London a year to grieve for Hussle before romantically pursuing her. “She about to be out here single,” he said of the actor. “I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and shit for him.”

Black has since addressed his comments. “If I disrespected you, Lauren London, in any shape or form, I’m sorry,” he said in a follow-up video. “Even though I didn’t […] Yeah I say what I said.”

Now, Justin Credible, a DJ from LA’s Power 106 station has pledged not to play Black’s music anymore. “We stand with the family of Nipsey Hussle and are appalled by the disrespectful and poor comments made by Kodak Black,” he tweeted. “With that, Power 106 will not support Kodak Black’s music.”

T.I. and The Game also called out Black for the comments. The former told the rapper in an Instagram video to “fix that shit quickly, expeditiously.” He added: “If I see you, I’ma say it to your face. You outta pocket, n***a. Get your motherfucking self together.”

The Game accused Black of disrespecting Hussle’s “name, legacy, [and] his family.” He warned him to keep Hussle and London’s names “out of your fucking mouth.” “This new generation, y’all fucked up in the head,” he added.

Last week (April 4), a suspect was charged in Hussle’s killing. Eric Holder, 29, was charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He has pled not guilty and has been placed in custody on a $5 million (£3.8 million) bail.
