Why so few people use Deluge to download torrent?

Isnt Deluge mostly for Linux? If so i imagine that would be a big factor

@The Lich  it is available for Linux, macOS and Windows. That is why i am wondering when i see most of the peers are using other clients.

I use Deluge for all my Torrenting Stuff. It is not a problem for me though. I think others don't use this because don't know about this client. The website is also a bit complicated for non-technical users.  I also found myself in some trouble when I was trying to download the Fedora variant of the Installer.  The link for that particular file is also dead . At last I had to install the software for the Ubuntu Variant.

on macos, Deluge wouldn't able to associate with magnet links, probably one of the reason.

Maybe because it is mainly written in Python ? And Python as scripting language is not so fast as C / C++ or other compiled languages?

Concerning seedboxes, rtorrent/ruTorrent is often the default installation so most people stick with that and don't even know that they can switch to other clients very easily.

Personally I've never tried it but feel comfortable with qbitorrent

you cant add multiple torrents at once in deluge and that sucks

because it is clean and ads free and does everything other torrent clients do.

I've used deluge but after trying rtorrent and transmission I switched.  Also some trackers won't allow deluge.
