Chadwick Boseman Tribute Video Celebrates All His Movie Roles

A tribute video celebrates Chadwick Boseman's career following his tragic passing. Boseman was among the most exciting actors of his generation. Though many knew him for his performance as T'Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he starred in many other award-winning films as well. Most recently, Boseman appeared in Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods, which released to universal acclaim earlier this year. However, the prolific actor was also known for his nuanced portrayals of several important historical figures, including Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall.

Boseman passed away Friday from colon cancer, with many of his past collaborators and fans expressing shock at the news. The actor never discussed his illness publicly, despite being diagnosed four years ago. In that time, he starred in some of the biggest movies of his career, including Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Boseman inspired a generation with his entire career. However, the significance of his role as a Black superhero can not be overstated, making his death all the more tragic.

To celebrate Boseman's far too brief career, video editor Nick Bosworth shared a tribute video featuring many of the actor's most iconic roles. The compilation shows the impressive diversity of Boseman's body of work, highlighting his performances in movies like 21 Bridges and Get on Up. Appropriately, the video features several scenes of Boseman as Black Panther. All told, it paints a picture of Boseman's illustrious career, ending with a fitting image of the actor.


The video is an excellent reminder of Boseman's incredible impact on Hollywood. For many actors, playing Black Panther would be enough of an accomplishment. However, Boseman also brought several real-life icons to life, never turning in the same performance twice. What's more, he worked with several of the industry's most impressive directors, including Lee, Tate Taylor, and the Russo brothers. Though Boseman's life and career were cut short far too soon, the compilation proves he truly made the most of the time he had.

As Hollywood continues to reel from Boseman's shocking death, more tributes will be on the way. For example, upcoming award shows, such as the Emmys and next year's Oscars, will likely honor the actor in some capacity. Marvel will probably play a big role in paying tribute to Boseman as well, considering the enormous effect he had on the MCU. However, in the meantime, this video serves as a wonderful way to celebrate Chadwick Boseman's most influential roles.
