The Batman Star Robert Pattinson Has COVID-19

Recommended Posts

The Batman star Robert Pattinson test positive for COVID-19. Beginning production earlier this year, The Batman was one of many Hollywood projects affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, shutting down in mid-March as the health crisis took a turn for the worse. At the time the movie went on hiatus, director Matt Reeves had shot only 25 percent of the film, which was still enough to cut together a well-received The Batman trailer that debuted at DC FanDome. After seeing the footage, viewers became even more excited for the final film, which is why there was so much excitement over The Batman resuming production.

In recent weeks, Hollywood has attempted to get back on its feet, but it hasn't been smooth sailing for all the production restarts. Jurassic World: Dominion was forced to alter its location shooting following a coronavirus outbreak, and The Batman just had to pause again after someone on the film tested positive for the virus. When the news first broke, it was unknown who contracted COVID-19, but now it's been revealed it's The Batman's biggest star.

According to Vanity Fair, Pattinson is the one who tested positive. As previously reported, he is currently in isolation while filming is on hold
