Mank Images Reveal First Look at David Fincher’s Citizen Kane Drama

New images have been released for director David Fincher's Netflix drama Mank, starring Gary Oldman and Amand Seyfried in a behind-the-scenes Citizen Kane tale. Oldman plays real-life screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz, who, according to Hollywood legend, wrote the first draft of the script that would become Citizen Kane. Seyfried will play Marion Davies, the mistress of business tycoon William Randolph Hearst, who will be played by Charles Dance (Game of Thrones' Tywin Lannister).

The first images from the film (via Variety) have been released and can be seen below. They show off the stellar cast, including Dance as Hearst, who was the real-life inspiration for the character of Charles Foster Kane, played by Welles. Tom Burke will play Welles in Mank. The cast also includes Lily Collins, who will play Rita Alexander, and Arliss Howard, who will play Louis B. Mayer, otherwise known as the Mayer in MGM.
