Unhinged has posted a cheeky Twitter movie advertisement poking fun at Tenet's complex plot. Unhinged's plot centers around road rage, where the central character of Rachel is targeted by a mysterious stranger and finds herself caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse. The film, which stars Caren Pistorius and Russell Crowe, made its theatrical debut in late August.

In contrast, Nolan's newest spy film features an unnamed protagonist in his mission to prevent World War III. While this may seem relatively straightforward, Tenet also features time inversion, which makes the storyline infinitely more complicated. Even so, Tenet has remained one of the most highly anticipated films of the summer, especially after its initial release was pushed back several times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated film pulled in the highest opening weekend since theaters reopened.

That being said, Unhinged's Twitter handle has now posted a tweet ribbing the newest Nolan blockbuster. The promotional picture features several close-up shots of Crowe in his car, staring off screen. A bright red banner splashes diagonally across the picture and huge, white block letters scream, "See Unhinged," while the lines beneath that read, "The movie that won't confuse you."
