Fall 2020 Update, Part 5

Hello everyone,

Today, we announce a minor rule revision. We know it has been unpopular and unfortunate that some romsets have recently had to have their dats split for the site. After much discussion, we have decided to rework our rules slightly in order to allow romsets that used to be safe to be uploaded again in their entirety. As such, the rules have been updated as follows:

All game catalog dat-based official romsets (we recognize Redump, No-Intro, Goodsets, GameBase, and TOSEC) for safe consoles, including non-game images, are considered safe.
- Non-game catalog romsets must be checked with staff on a case-by-case basis via the Safe Content forum.
- Example: A Redump set for UMD Video content for PSP is unsafe.
