qBittorrent - One of the most popular ones. Completely free to use and ad-free. I use this!

Deluge - Also free but more simple (less features) than qBittorrent. Deluge often comes default with Linux distros since it's very lightweight and easy to use. I've only used this on Linux because it came pre-installed.

Avoid these:

uTorrent - Ads and sketchy activity. Most people have ignored it for the past 5+ years. At one point, it tried to mine bitcoin off of user clients. They may have changed, but most people have already switched away.

Vuze - Ads and paid membership option. Again, not worth because you're better off spending that money on a Seedbox.

utorrent and bit torrent are the ones I use for my local. Both of them came from the same company and are very similar. They have adds however it is simple to disable. The guide is easily found.

Qbittorrent on pc,

Deluge on seedbox (especially for seeder),

Rutorrent on seedbox (especially for uploader),

*Rutorrent on seedbox has screenshots, media info plugins,while deluge not, it also depends on seedbox provider

* Qbittorent is open source

Wow never heard and knew about Qbittorrent. I was using utorrent till now.

Deluge or Transmission for simplicity, qBittorrent for design and features.

Deluge is especially good for seedboxes.

qBittorrent has some good themes to make it look good and is open source as well with frequent updates.

Do not use uTorrent as it has been accused of containing adware.

One more thing, some trackers might put qbittorrent on blacklist, so do check that first.
