The Green Knight (David Lowery, A24)

I'm looking forward for the Mortal Kombat reboot. So far the whole cast and the director staff doesn't look that promising, but I still deep down hope that it will be at least watchable. It shouldn't be that hard compared to other MK movie monstrosities.

There's only two movies worth anticipating:

- a movie where they fly planes really good

- a movie where they ride sand dunes really good

(A technical third is the Bob Odenkirk John-Wick wanna-be but as much as I love Bob in Better Call Saul, he's really poorly cast).

Black Widow trailer just put me to sleep. I'm utterly tired of digital entertainment equivalent of soylent slurry that they call Marvel-DC Movies. They're great to fall asleep to on an airplane. Florence Pugh is fantastic though and I've been in love with her after Lady Macbeth, Midsommar, and Little Women

Agreed with @MalIsAngry.  I really hope they dont go the way of other revived films.  I think its far better to leave the matrix alone and let us live with the nostalgia..

I really didn't like the previous suicide squad film, it seemed to me to be a film made wholly out of closeups/character reveals, and didn't have much actual substance.  Hopefully the new one will be better.  I'd be quite interested to see the director's cut of the previous.

Also the fact that there's a new space jam film coming out has blown my mind.  I did not know about that one at all.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Wrath of Man, the new Jason Statham movie.  I saw it a few weeks ago and it was really good.  Don't get me wrong it is still a reasonably formulaic action movie, but the premise was really good and it comes off pretty well.
