In welcome news for anyone still trying to get their hands on a new console, GameStop will be offering up PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch bundles online tomorrow. Players have been struggling to get ahold of the new generation of consoles since it launched in November, but supplies have been scarce as online retailers are still selling out their inventories almost as fast as they can get them in stock.

This is due to several different factors, with the main culprits being the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic making mass production and shipment of the PS5 and Xbox Series X difficult and online scalpers snatching the systems up in bulk to sell online at hiked prices. Understandably, the rare times the consoles do become available often turn into frantic struggles to place orders before supplies run out once again, with retailers like GameStop repeatedly experiencing website crashes due to the sheer level of traffic that these restocks tend to kick off.

Earlier today, GameStop announced on Twitter that it will be carrying a limited supply of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch bundles on its website tomorrow. The exact time these bundles will be made available to purchase is still unknown at this time, so fans hoping to acquire one are being advised to "turn on post notifications" on Twitter in order to stay up to date.

GameStop isn’t the only retailer set to receive another quantity of PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles over the next few days, as a report suggests that Target is being restocked with PS5s this week. Even better, stores like Walmart are now making real efforts to combat the scalper bots that have plagued the current generation of consoles since its launch, allowing more players to hopefully order one of those shiny new machines when they log in.

Many gamers are still waiting on their chance to finally get a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S, so a new restock at GameStop is great news. Of course, there’s still no guarantee that everyone who logs in to the store’s website tomorrow will get a new console, but with the scalpers hopefully winding down their privateering efforts at long last, it can be hoped more players will soon be able to enjoy the current generation of console gaming and its upgrades.
