The hype is building for Zack Snyder's Justice League following the release of the trailer and now the film has its own Twitter emoji.

Zack Snyder's Justice League got its own Twitter emoji to coincide with the release of the movie's trailer. Snyder's vision for his original 2017 film is a little over a month away from release and anticipation is at an all time high. The DCEU's original architect left Justice League during post-production in 2017, leaving Joss Whedon to take over the reins. Whedon severely compromised Snyder's vision and just a few months after the film's release, fans started campaigning for Snyder to complete his original version of the film.
Snyder and fans' wishes were granted when Warner Bros. confirmed in 2020 that Snyder would be given the tools to complete his version of Justice League . The director has restored the original film, bringing it up to a four hour long cut set to premiere on HBO Max. Snyder was even able to conduct additional filming for the film, bringing back Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Ray Fisher. He also added additional scenes with Jared Leto's Joker which wasn't originally part of the plan for the film.

On the same day as a new trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League released, the film now has its own Twitter emoji. As shown by the Snyder Cut's official Twitter, if you use the hashtag #ZackSnydersJusticeLeague, #SnyderCut, or #UsUnited the logo for Snyder's version of the film appears next to it. The logo has also been seen in a series of posters Snyder released to promote his version of the film.

Snyder's version of Justice League may be highly anticipated by fans, but it seems as if WB and DC Films are less than stoked. Snyder has been honest about the fact that he has no plans to continue working in the DCEU after the release of the film. This hasn't stopped fans from campaigning for him to complete his vision for the DCEU, with #RestoreTheSnyderVerse becoming a trending topic on Twitter earlier this year. Unfortunately, DC executives have said that they see Zack Snyder's Justice League as a storytelling deadend and, more recently, Snyder has said that they have no interest in a proposed Justice League sequel .

It's a rather sad turn of events for the director, especially considering the fact that he is clearly passionate about the world he built. At least his version of Justice League will be able to give fans a taste of what he had in store for the DCEU, even as the studio charts a path forward for the DC universe . If Snyder's version is well-enough received, it's possible that the studio could see renewed interest in his plans and, as we saw with his cut of Justice League , truly anything is possible, especially in cinematic universes.
