For the whole month of April, Tinder is making its Passport feature free. This means you can now start looking for potential matches all around the world, without paying a single penny.

What Is Passport in Tinder?

In case you aren't aware, Passport is a feature in Tinder that lets you look for matches that aren't in your close proximity. With this feature, you can manually select a location anywhere in the world and see the matches there.

This allows you to find potential partners all around the world regardless of your location. You can live in London, UK and find matches in Seattle, USA, and so on.

Tinder Offers Free Passport for One Month

Tinder offered the Passport feature for free last April as well, and it's doing that again. As announced on Tinder Newsroom, the company is making the Passport feature free for all Tinder users for the whole of April.

The official announcement reads:

Starting today, Tinder is making its Passport feature available for free for the month of April. For some, that could mean finding a fantasy fling in Miami, Munich or Marseilles. For others, it could be a way of testing the international waters while they wait for a vaccine passport.

How to Use Passport for Free in Tinder

To use Passport for free in Tinder, launch the app on your phone and you'll see a banner.

On this banner, tap the button that says Let's Go to head into settings and enable the Passport feature. You can then set up a country you want to teleport so you can find matches there.

What if You Don't See the Passport Banner in Tinder?

In case you don't see the free Passport banner in Tinder, don't worry. You aren't left out. You can manually head into the settings menu and turn on the feature from there.

To do this:

Launch the Tinder app on your phone.

Tap your profile icon in the bottom-right corner.

Select the Settings option.

Scroll down and tap Location.

Tap Add a new location and add the location you want to see matches in.
