DeFi Protocol Force DAO Token Drops 90% After Hacker Attack

DeFi hedge fund Force DAO has suffered a hacker attack in which hackers stole around $376,000, the project announced on its official Twitter account. The price of FORCE, the protocol's native token, has suffered the consequences of the attack, as it has dropped by more than 90%. Mudit Gupta, blockchain team lead at blockchain software firm Polymath, claims in a series of tweets there have been five attackers and that one of them has returned the stolen funds. Force DAO has reported the rest of the project funds are safe. It should be noted attacks on DeFi projects are not rare. For instance, hackers stole $2.8M from the project Yearn.Finance in February.
