Bill Murray has the best reaction to Ghostbusters: Afterlife's mini Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men in a new video. With Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the beloved paranormal comedy franchise will be returning to its roots. This new installment is directed by Jason Reitman, son of the original movies' director Ivan, and it will introduce the newest generation of Ghostbusters. When a single mom (Carrie Coon) and her kids (Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace) move into their late grandfather's home, they discover their family holds ties to the original Ghostbusters, which prompts them to pick up the mantle when strange occurrences crop up in their new town.

While some of those odd circumstances will be entirely new, an early Ghostbusters: Afterlife clip teased the return of a familiar foe: The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. The video, released a few weeks ago, showed Paul Rudd's newcomer Mr. Grooberson encountering a horde of mini Stay-Puft men while out at the supermarket. While utterly adorable, the tiny Stay-Pufts waste no time in wreaking havoc among the aisles.

In a new video shared by Sony Pictures, original Ghostbusters star Bill Murray hopped on a video chat with Ivan Reitman and, for the first time, watched Afterlife's Stay-Puft clip. Murray's reaction is absolutely priceless, as he immediately bursts into delighted laughter at the sight of the first mini Marshmallow Man. The grin stays on his face the entire time, and at the end he declares, "That looks good. That's got the feel, doesn't it?" Check it out down below.

Much of the excitement surrounding Ghostbusters: Afterlife is based on the fact that it promises to be the proper sequel fans have long wanted to see. This movie will bypass the 2016 all-female reboot entirely and be a direct continuation of the original Ghostbusters movies from the 80s. Making it even better is the fact that Murray and the rest of the main cast will all be back. The only two who won't have appearances are the late Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis, though co-star Ernie Hudson made some rather suspicious comments a while back that could hint something is in the works. Of course, everything is speculation for now.

Murray's thrilled reaction to the Ghostbusters: Afterlife clip seems to bode well for the rest of the movie, especially since he previously said it brings the franchise back to life. Having Ivan present the clip to him as well makes it even more poignant. Jason Reitman said once that Afterlife made his father cry, and it still seems clear that Ivan is proud of what he has created. This will just further increase the excitement fans already have for this movie, which has sadly been delayed multiple times. Currently, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is scheduled for release in November, and hopefully it will stay there so audiences can finally see it.
