Mark Hamill reacts to a disturbing Return of the Jedi fan theory. Hamill is best known for his portrayal of the iconic Star Wars hero Luke Skywalker. The actor frequently has fun interactions with fans and fellow stars on social media, and will post his reactions to different types of Star Wars content from hilarious memes, crazy Luke Skywalker conspiracy theories and more.

One prevailing Star Wars mystery was the origin of Princess Leia's new dress on the forest moon of Endor. After Leia was separated from Luke during a speeder bike chase, the princess was rescued by Wicket the Ewok (played by the legendary actor Warwick Davis.) Wicket also helped Leia escape from two Stormtroopers, and took her back to where the rest of the Ewoks lived on Endor. Later on the Ewoks capture Luke and Han, and bring them to their home to be sacrificed as food. It's at that moment where they're reunited with Leia, who mysteriously has a new dress after being found earlier by Wicket in the forest.

Author Brad Meltzer tagged Mark Hamill in a Star Wars fan theory meme. The meme in question featured Bert and Ernie posing a disturbing question about the origin of Princess Leia's Return of the Jedi dress. Where exactly did the Ewoks get it from? Check out Hamill's hilarious response to this question below.

It's always entertaining to see how Hamill reacts to Star Wars fan content, and his response to the disturbing Ewok fan theory is no exception. What's nice about Hamill's use of social media is that fact that Luke Skywalker himself clearly loves Star Wars just as much as the fans do. Although Hamill and Luke remain fan-favorites, the Ewoks continue to divide fans thirty-eight years after the premiere of Return of the Jedi.

George Lucas originally planned to have Chewbacca and the Wookiees help the Rebel Alliance defeat the Empire in Return of the Jedi, but decided he wanted to have a more primitive series aid in the final battle. Lucas drew real life inspiration to create the Ewoks from one of his own dogs, among other factors, and thus the adorable, yet feisty Rebel fighters were born. Despite their cute and cuddly appearance, it's certainly possible the Ewoks are bloodthirsty critters.

Regardless of opinions on Ewoks as a whole, it's pretty clear that Princess Leia's Return of the Jedi dress was likely from a woman that the Ewoks ate, as the fan meme suggested. After all, the Ewoks were super close to roasting Han and Luke for dinner. Thankfully Luke, Han and Leia lived through the Empire and the Ewoks. And if there's one thing that all Star Wars fans can agree on, it's that Mark Hamill is the undisputed Star Wars social media king.
