TheGeeks/TheEmpire/TheShow trackers are not open. Even though the registration form is open, many sources confirm that if you register, you will be disabled and you will have to provide proof on their IRC to get reenabled. So these are actually IRC signup trackers.

Still "officially" they're open.

Excellent. In the next update, I will add the trackers you mentioned to the list. It may take a while.

@chill I like the four trackers, but they are not worth it these days with the automatic disabling of the accounts in most cases, and even with good ratio proofs, staff members of those trackers try their best not to enable the accounts. I don't want members to frequently post these trackers in the Open Signups section as they are intermittently open. So I added them to this list.

Good point. In the future, I will add them to Private Trackers - Signup Schedule | Open, Application and IRC Signups topic under intermittently open category and remove them from this list (or keep in both the topics), so they get more visibility. But the result is the same. The trackers listed in both topics are not allowed to post in the Open Signups forum to avoid Spam.

Kind regards,

Kind regards,

I understand now, thank you! I heard a lot of bad about the staff as well and I agree that it's better if they are not posted in the open signup section, since it's actually application signup and it is very confusing to new users. I think it's worth adding them to the IRC signup section, but keep them here as well, so then it's less likely that people will make a post about them. But I also recommend putting an asterisk next to them and in the footer explain that they are actually IRC signups and you need to provide ratio proof, just to avoid confusion.

theres quite a few trackers on the front page that i have never heard of and a few that no longer exist  "cartoondownload"  for example has a Parked Domain ...

If you see, the Cartoon Download tracker has an x beside it. That means it's already classified as a dead tracker. Regarding other trackers, It has been a while since I updated the list, and I no longer have the bandwidth to work on this. But when I have time, I will see if I can sort out the list better for long-term use and add a disclaimer that some of the information may be outdated.

Kind regards,
