Important Note: As soon as you signup, there is a chance you may get disabled in TheGeeks & TheShow. In that case, you need to go to IRC, submit your other ratio proofs and if the staff are satisfied with the ratio proofs, then only you will get your account back.

PS: The staff gives preference to real upload than the upload you get with Bonus points.

it is a shame they insist on no VPN (unless you're a donor or a power user).  I wonder how much that really cuts down on spammers/leechers, given that most consumer ISPs use dynamic IPs anyway. (I'm assuming its so they can block IPs of people who have broken the rules).

Yep. TheGeeks looks closed, but TheShow is still open (at the time of typing this message). You can join TheShow and join TheGeeks via Internal recruitment as both are sister sites.

I agree. I don't think that cuts down on spammers/leechers in these days of Dynamic IPs, but they may have had experiences of banned members returning via VPNs, as mentioned in the Rules. That's why they banned the VPN totally. Moreover, TheGeeks staff are very restrictive and disable accounts very much as soon as you signup, and they enable only some percentage of accounts even if the users contact them. Compared to that, the VPN may not be a big deal.

Still, I would feel better if they allow dedicated/Paid VPNs after registering. That would be very nice.

You are late. The Signup is closed as they reached the User Limit of Signups. But you can still join TheShow (open at the time of writing this message) and join TheGeeks via internal recruitment.

What's their IRC address? And how to contact with them? As you said, got disabled.
