Spider-Man 3 Fan Poster Shows Peter In His New Black & Gold Suit

Peter Parker sports his new black and gold suit in a new Spider-Man: No Way Home fan-made poster. In less than six months, Tom Holland will reprise his superhero role for the fifth time in the MCU. And while Marvel Studios and Sony are taking their time kicking off the marketing campaign for the movie, its nearing release has brought about a series of tie-in merchandise revealing some details from the movie.

That includes a few new suits for Spider-Man. Based on the toys that have recently been showcased on the Marvel website, Peter will be changing suits several times in the duration of Spider-Man: No Way Home. One appears to be a mix of the last costume from Spider-Man: Far From Home that the young hero made himself using Stark Technology and the Iron Spider suit gifted by Tony Stark. Another one, dubbed the integrated suit, has Doctor Strange-provided upgrades. And then, there's also the black and gold ensemble with red detailing on the forearms and fingers which has inspired new fan art for the film.

Meanwhile, a billboard in the background implies that he's being hunted on the heels of Mysterio's fake claim in Spider-Man: Far From Home's mid-credits scene. Check out the poster below:

With barely any official marketing for the Jon Watts film, not much is known about its plot. That said, persistent rumors continue to claim that it will be a live-action adaptation of the Spider-Verse, with Doctor Strange somehow involved. This was backed up by some of the new toys for Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as, Kevin Feige's confirmation that the threequel will have narrative links to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This new fan art, however, poses a different idea. Instead, it picks up from the set-up from Spider-Man: Far From Home where Peter goes underground after his identity was revealed to the world and is falsely blamed for the death of Mysterio. That story makes more sense with regard to this sleek suit as it will make it easier for him to keep a low profile.

Things will get clearer once promotional activities for Spider-Man: No Way Home kick off. At this point, it's difficult to say when the first teaser/trailer might drop. However, considering the fact that Marvel Studios is finally coming back to the theaters with Black Widow, it's safe to say that it will have to drop sooner rather than later. In any case, since the film has long finished production, marketing materials may be all geared up, only waiting for the green light to be rolled out.
