During halftime of the film's climactic game, James and the Looney Tunes are down and out as they face a seemingly insurmountable score deficit going into the second half. Without hesitation, Daffy Duck starts to list all the basketball achievements of Michael Jordan as his entrance music plays and a figure steps through in shadow. As their newfound secret weapon steps into the light, audiences are treated to a hilarious case of mistaken identity as they lay eyes on Michael B. Jordan.

Now that the film has been out for a few days, Michael B. Jordan took to Instagram (via CinemaBlend) to share a behind-the-scenes photo of himself posing with LeBron James on the set of Space Jam: A New Legacy. In the photo, Jordan wrote, "Another milestone," which illustrates the importance of Space Jam and the cameo for the actor. It also goes to show just how game he was to make an appearance when the production knew they weren't getting Michael Jordan back.

Since the sequel to Space Jam was announced, audiences have been curious about whether Michael Jordan would appear in the film.
