Therefore after such an enlightening discussion it has been revealed to me where NBL has been going wrong. Henceforth all downloads/uploads will be immediately disabled globally for all users. The way forward has been revealed to us via the Prophet uselessking.

No, seriously when I have to deal with these excuses in IRC I find it terribly frustrating. Users with these kind of excuses are part of the problem. We can't build a thriving community if we wait for everyone else to do it for us.

The moral of the story here is if you want it to continue, use it!

Avoid unnecessary posts such as 'Thank you', 'Welcome', etc. Such posts will be deleted and user will be warned if it happens again. If caught spamming, the following actions are applicable -

• First time - Warning
• Second time - 5000 Points will be deducted
• Third time - Ban for 7 days
• Fourth time - Permanent Ban

What are people's feelings on this?  It feels a bit like a power trip from Alastor.  If uselessking was going to come back and seed, doesn't that help the community rather than having a deactivated account?

 

edit: this may not be an appropriate place for politics, but the nebulance tracker gives me some bad vibes.

If the Nebulance tracker gives you some bad vibes, You haven't experienced AsianDVDClub (currently alive and working; Check the news posted in the last few weeks) & Nostalgic. is (not alive) trackers. You would have gotten 100 x bad vibes from those trackers compared to Nebulance.

Alastor closed the tracker before once (Not sure if it's only once or multiple times) but came back again. Instead of asking for donations, he recommended an MLM Scheme to members. Even after all this, I still recommend Nebulance. After experiencing the madness of the Nostalgic (I will leave the explanation for now) and the AsianDVDClub trackers (Admin gets upset whenever someone says something and warns about closing the tracker, and he already did two times till now. I am not interested in creating a buffer of 200-400 GB to stay in the tracker, not knowing whether the tracker will be alive or not after a few days and Let's not forget about him spewing the venom on the AsianCinema tracker, exposing and posting the pics of it's owner on the Discord channel, and calling names. At least AsianCinema's owner didn't stoop to that level), it's good to say that Nebulance is good except for a few power trips from Alastor every now and then. But it's ok, He is contributing to the community in whatever way he sees fit and maintaining a tracker is not easy.

Apart from IPT & BTN, there are not many TV Trackers right now. Morethan.tv is still in shambles (It's useless right now). That said, we can't get upset about every minor thing. Compared to what happened in other trackers and from my experience, Nebulance is still a good tracker, and It's ok to be there.
