One skilled marksman just beat a Ghost Of Tsushima Iki Island expansion archery challenge in a mere two seconds with some solid aiming and strategic equipment choices. Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut launched on PlayStation 5 just recently, adding new locations, weapons, and challenges to Sucker Punch Productions' critically acclaimed open-world samurai epic a year after it took the gaming world by storm.

The most noteworthy piece of new content to come to Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is the Iki Island story campaign, which pits fallen samurai Jin Sakai against a sinister Mongolian cult on the titular Japanese island of Ikishima. Aside from the nearly 15 to 20 hours of story and mission content this DLC brings, Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut features new enemy types, animals for Jin to pet and befriend, and new archery challenges for aspiring samurai warriors to test their mettle with a bow and arrow.

Not long at all after release, one particularly skilled Ghost Of Tsushima player managed to complete these challenges in no time at all. Reddit user MI_3ANTROP posted a video of themselves beating the Raider's Memorial archery challenge in just two seconds to the game's dedicated subreddit (via GamesRadar). While this is an impressive feat of precise aiming on its own, MI_3ANTROP made use of stat-altering equipment to increase Jin’s chances of hitting all the targets quickly, such as the Tadayori armor set to boost faster bow reload speeds and the Charm of Concentration, which increases the amount of time the player can stay in the slowed-down Concentration mode with each successfully completed archery challenge.

Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut came around the time of the original Ghost Of Tsushima's first anniversary, which fans celebrated by hosting special challenges in Ghost Of Tsushima’s online multiplayer Legends mode and creating cute plushies of Jin as one of the mystical foxes that occasionally guide him. Developer Sucker Punch joined in the festivities as well, releasing detailed stats of how many duels players engaged in, bringing back old DLC content based on other PlayStation exclusives like God Of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn, and even making note of the real-world impact of Ghost Of Tsushima on the Japanese island it is both set in and named after.

Watching MI_3ANTROP clear the Raider’s Memorial archery challenge in Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is impressive to watch, and reading about the equipment and Charms they used to pull off this deft feat is could certainly help other players improve their own aiming prowess while trying the challenge out for themselves. With Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut now available on the PS5, fans all around the world can draw back their bowstring as Jin Sakai in one of last year's most beautiful and unique PlayStation exclusives.
