In light of COVID restrictions keeping people from living the life they want, games such as Grand Theft Auto Online have drastically increased in popularity due to their roleplaying potential. Many people are invested in watching their favorite GTA RP streamers and the adventures they have within the game, and the NoPixel GTA RP server is one of the most popular destinations for that type of content.

However, through this popularity, the server is not without its fair share of drama. There have been quite a few streamers banned from the NoPixel server for a variety of reasons, whether it be for a couple of days or permanent bans, and the type of conflicts range in severity.

One of the most recent cases of streamers being banned from the server involves one of Summit1G's fellow streamers named 'HutchMF.' After HutchMF was given a three-day ban from the server, Summit1G spoke out against the decision, saying the moderators for the server are becoming too trigger happy with their use of bans.

The reasoning for HutchMF getting their ban happened when while they were out on an adventure with other players. Someone else in the group was not following orders, so HutchMF shot the player and was banned for that. After hearing HutchMF's recollection of events, Summit1G became critical of these admins and stated that they need to be more careful, as these streamers' jobs are on the line.

Summit1G goes into more detail by saying that there is a lot more at stake for Twitch streamers than not being able to play the game. Potentially a streamer's main source of income, and even their whole following that they worked so hard to build, could be taken away by a single mistake, thus affecting the future of their career. Summit1G explains that this should be going through the NoPixel admins' heads before they make a decision, as they need to have these conversations when handing out bans since their jobs are also on the line.

Summit1G then suggests that an easy solution to this would be to have conversations with streamers for minor offenses rather than skipping to harsh punishments. Luckily, HutchMFs ban was only temporary, but these sort of instances are a bigger problem. Other Twitch streamers criticized NoPixel bans in the past, so this is not an isolated incident. Hopefully, the NoPixel admins will take this advice into consideration and be open to having discussions with the players going forward instead of harshly shutting people out of the game.
