Bridgerton Star Cast in Netflix Heist Thriller From the Russo Brothers

Dearest readers, it seems we have a rather special announcement: after departing Bridgerton, the esteemed Regé-Jean Page shall join the cast of a Russo Brothers-produced heist thriller. The ton was abuzz wondering what the British actor would do next after winning hearts as the Duke of Hastings on Shonda Rhimes's hit Netflix period drama one year past. Page has since gone on to host SNL, voice act in a Neil Gaiman audio drama, and star in a delightful selection of upcoming films.

THR now brings to light that Page is to star in a thriller produced by the Russo Brothers, the name of which remains to be determined. The script arrives courtesy of Noah Hawley, the incomparable creator of the TV series Legion and Fargo. Hawley is responsible for the story and directing the picture, although further particulars regarding the events of the film are scarce. Producer Mike Larocca was overheard making the following proclamation about the project:

AGBO was originally founded to allow us to collaborate with artists we greatly respect and admire. We are very happy to continue to fulfill that pledge by supporting this new film from Noah Hawley and Regé-Jean Page.

This latest endeavor sees Page continuing his courtship with Netflix. To complement his performing title, Page has also accepted the duties of executive producer. In doing so, he enters a society that also includes executive producer Angela Russo-Otstot, Hawley producing under 26 Keys, and AGBO's Joe and Anthony Russo and Mike Larocca.

This isn't the first occasion upon which Page and the Russo gentlemen have been acquainted. The aforementioned men collaborated on The Gray Man, an enticing thriller in which Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans also make appearances, which is currently in post-production. Page can also be spotted frequenting the set of Dungeons & Dragons, a film in which he is starring for Paramount Pictures. If further information regarding his dealings with Sir Hawley is desired, patience must be exercised.
