Apex Legends Fans Want To See Lifeline Buffs In Season 11

While Season 10 of Apex Legends still has a couple more weeks left, many fans are already looking ahead to Season 11. Along with a new playable Legend and Battle Pass, each season introduces many changes to characters and weapons. As a result of these changes, some Legends become more viable while others become less so. Recently, a large number of fans voiced their opinions about Lifeline and how to make her more effective in next season's meta.

As part of the original roster when the battle royale launched, Lifeline has remained a popular pick over the many seasons of the game. A Support class Legend, she has several abilities to aid her teammates during skirmishes. Combat Revive allows her to continue to fight while reviving squadmates, and her Heal Drone provides them with some quick healing. In addition, she can call in a Care Package by way of her Ultimate to give her squad better gear. Even though Lifeline has received reworks in past seasons, some fans still think that the Legend deserves a buff heading into Season 11.

In a recent post on Reddit, the following question was posed to the members of the Apex Legends community: “you can change anything about Lifeline, what would it be?” In less than a day, the responses from players began to pour in, with many having interesting ideas to tweak the Legend’s kit.

While there were many suggestions for potential improvements to Lifeline, one of the most popular ideas involved Apex Legends' respawn beacons. According to Reddit user OnlyTilt, Respawn should “have the Care Package double as a respawn beacon.” This potential rework of the character’s Ultimate could be a valuable asset, as it would provide squads with the option to respawn teammates at remote locations, giving respawned players more time to gather loot before a fight. Furthermore, this rework would be an interesting addition for late-game scenarios when no remaining respawn beacons are available on the map.

In addition to this proposed rework, many other people had ideas for potential buffs for Lifeline. Some fans suggested that the Legend should hold more shields and meds, similar to how Fuse can stack more grenades compared to other Legends. Furthermore, some thought that the developers should completely redesign her Ultimate, removing the Care Package entirely.

Over Apex Legends' past seasons, the developers at Respawn have often listened to suggestions from the community. With over 2,000 upvotes on Reddit, it will be interesting to see if this respawn beacon rework for the Care Package makes it into the game.
