It's been another wonderful evening of NFL action with unbeaten streaks ended, records equalled and broken - and some thrilling fourth-quarter and overtime wins.

Just one small matter left: that of Tom Brady's return to Foxborough as he leads the defending Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay into action against the New England Patriots - the franchise he steered to six world titles.

The Buccaneers will bid to bounce back from last weekend's defeat by the Los Angeles Rams but Patriots coach Bill Belichick will be desperate to get one over his former quarterback.

We'll have a report for you live on the BBC NFL page for when you wake up - until then, goodnight and thanks for reading.

Game of the Day - Cards deal Rams first loss

Arizona Cardinals 37-20 Los Angeles Rams

It was the battle of the two 3-0 teams in the NFC West, and the question of who is the better team was answered pretty emphatically by the Arizona Cardinals in a statement win in LA.

Running back James Conner scored twice while Kyler Murray sparkled with 268 yards passing, two TDs and another 39 yards rushing.

Chase Edmonds had 120 yards on the ground as Arizona produced an all-round performance that a few thought wasn't possible as they put up 37 points on one of the league's top defences.

They also restricted Matthew Stafford to just 20 points to become the first 4-0 team and possibly the only one, with the Las Vegas Raiders yet to protect their own unbeaten record, playing on Monday Night Football this week.

Arizona may not be dark horses any more
