Windows 10 is the golden standard for casual user IMO. In its current state, it is better than any previous OS.

i am starting to regret my windows 11 upgrade every morning its some sort of update

i am sure after some time they will work out all the small bugs but untill then best to have multiple os in case things go wrong

just waiting on another ssd drive to arrive then will add widows  8 or internet use as it seems alot better not sure on security part at least it works

The original is always better. If you are not interested in modified versions. But their content is questionable. I am using windows 10. But I think 11 will be nicer. I just started using lubuntu. I warmed up quickly. But everything needs code

Windows 95 and Windows 7 were my favorite.  Windows 10 is working fine for me.  I'm considering the upgrade to Windows 11, but holding off for now.

I enjoy using linux, trying out different distributions is a lot of fun! I think ArchLinux can be one of the most enjoyable, because you have to set many things up manually which provides a great challenge. But sometimes it gets tiring, so I also enjoy using Linux Mint for the out-of-box experience.

As for windows, Windows xp was my favorite, but I liked Windows 7 too. Windows 10 isn't too bad, but I often experience annoying performance issues.

as far as windows goes, 2000 Professional was my demon of choice. Windows just gets more and more bloated with each release. I am glad I put in the effort to switch to Linux a long long time ago...

Windows 7 was/is the most stable product Microsoft made for the consumer. Windows 10/11 is not there yet.
