Amid the Omicron covid craziness we hope everyone stays safe and has a good new year. 

Update your Password
A new mandatory rule has been in effect for more than a year requiring passwords over 2 years old to be changed with almost monthly reminders. Any users found with a password over 2 years old will be issued a warning and the password reset by staff. 

Gmail
Users with an email account using Gmail should consider switching to another email service or you might not be able to recover your password or receive board emails. Some users have reported not getting emails with their Gmail accounts or found the board's emails in their Spam folders. You can test your email account by logging out and using the password recovery option. 

Hotlinked Images
Hotlinked images are against the rules and will result in a warning and/or a loss of privileges. This applies to all uploads, avatars, requests or posts! Images should be hosted on an approved image hosting service not on commercial or developer sites - wiki.php?action=article&name=Image+Hotlinking

01 Users Warned - Strike 3 (have had their Request Privileges Revoked)

So we thought we would just give you an insight as to what Staff are currently working on

Implementing New rules:

- Announce the rule (newsletter, forum post)
- Set the rule (document it on rules page/wiki)
- Enforce the rule
- Remind the rule 

After that.. only:

- Enforce the rule

As said, we are working on this.

Avoid unnecessary posts such as 'Thank you', 'Welcome', etc. Such posts will be deleted and user will be warned if it happens again. If caught spamming, the following actions are applicable -

• First time - Warning
• Second time - 5000 Points will be deducted
• Third time - Ban for 7 days
• Fourth time - Permanent Ban
