Action-Packed Wrong Place Trailer Revealed [EXCLUSIVE]

***** can exclusively present the trailer for the upcoming film Wrong Place, which will be released in theaters on July 15 and simultaneously be available on Demand. The Vertical Entertainment production is an action thriller that was directed by Mike Burns and written by Bill Lawrence, who both previously teamed up for 2020's Out of Death, which also starred Bruce Willis.

In Wrong Place, Willis plays Frank, a small town's former police chief. As the movie commends, he finds himself being hunted down by a meth kingpin seeking to silence him before he can deliver eyewitness testimony against his family. While it may seem Frank has nowhere to turn, the kingpin ultimately finds himself up against more than he bargained for when he threatens to harm Frank's daughter Chloe (Ashley Greene, from the Twilight franchise and Bombshell). Other members of the exciting cast include Michael Sirow (Fortress: Sniper's Eye) as Jake and Texas Battle (The Bold and the Beautiful) as Captain East.

In a exclusive first look at the Wrong Place trailer below, viewers can see a tension-filled chase happening as well as a murder in progress that Willis' Frank interrupts. As he prepares himself to be sole witness to the case, he notes that his daughter is coming into town. It's a situation that can only spell trouble, which is clear when Chloe and her friend get kidnapped and Frank goes on a mission to save them. Catch the trailer below:

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the Wrong Place trailer is how competent Chloe seems to be allowed to be. The 2-minute sneak peek of the film already showcases her doing everything from talking back to the villains and trying her luck at escaping to kicking them and smashing them with boiling tea kettles. There's no doubt Frank will do everything to save his daughter, but thankfully she'll be working hard to save herself as well.

Wrong Place's poster further emphasizes this equality between the leads, as Greene is front and center along with Willis, and they each appear afraid yet determined.

Other recent releases from Vertical Entertainment include last year's fun romcom The Hating Game, starring Lucy Hale and Austin Stowell; this year's comedy adventure Unplugging, starring Eva Longoria and Matt Walsh, and the theatrical revolution that is Tankhouse.
