BitHumen is a big and old HUNGARIAN general private torrent tracker. It is more than 15 years old. The tracker has more than 87k torrents and 92k users. The interface is in Hungarian with no option to change it to English, so you have to use google translate extension. The site is ratioless, however in order to move up to a higher user class, you have to maintain a good ratio. Every torrent has to be seeded for 24 hours or the user gets a hit and run warning, but there are no penalties for this. Torrents can have modifiers, such as only half or none of the download is counted or the upload is doubled, which helps with building a ratio. For the featured torrents of the day, only half of the download is counted. By default users are not permitted to upload, they have to request uploading rights. Despite being a Hungarian tracker, many movies/series get uploaded that are in English. And since it is a general tracker, there are programs, games, XXX, music, books and other content that are useful for users who don't speak Hungarian. You can also request content to be uploaded in the forums. If you are interested in Hungarian content, this is a great site for it, but not the best. But with the request sections in the forums, you can get access to content from other trackers. BitHumen also has a bonus system. You can earn 3 bonus points per week based on how much data you have uploaded. There is also a weekly quiz from which you can earn up to 2 points. From the bonus points you can purchase things like special icons and unique rank. You can't purchase upload credit, but you can purchase an invite for 10 bonus points. Users also get a free invite every month. The pretimes are really good for Hungarian content. The speeds are really good too, especially for Hungarian content, since content in English tends to get seeded less than content in Hungarian. The community is friendly and helpful, although most interactions are in Hungarian.
