Just want to add one thing: find a big Free torrent, for example all season of Lost in HQ. It must be a pretty popular torrent with a useful ratio of seeders/leechers. I found a torrent like that with 5 seeders and 15 leechers. I am seeding at max speed at all times. GREAT for my ratio.

Thank you for the post, there is a lot of useful information in here. I particularly didn't know about some of the more detailed settings within utorrent. Should I disable those on a seedbox too?

a good way to start a ratio is to download and seed only a sample. many people download the sample first so its an easy seed.

great guide. one thing i'm wondering is with DHT some clients (eg transmission) say its enabled "for public torrents" so im guessing that means it turns it off automatically for private torrents. its always good to check tho :lol:

if you have speed problems try to seed some small torrents (or just 1) for couple of weeks... it really helps for sites with "Bonuses" system.

i have followed for long time and it have worked for me.
