I just wondered how many of you guys still use public trackers?. What public trackers do you use if any?. What's your favorite/most used?. Do you prefer public to private trackers?.
I am just interested in what you guys prefer.I know there are still some half decent public trackers around that i occasionally use,btjunkie is ok for me and you can also find torrents on public trackers that private trackers don't have.
What's your opinion about security with both private and public?. Do you think that private trackers are safer?. Lots of people are believing that private are safer when i personally have to disagree, are we really safer??? MPAA and others are lurking around everywhere.

I've had phases, of going with private trackers, but for my needs, public trackers work just fine.

I normally use kickass torrents, via torrentz. Unless I'm looking for some very specific content, there's barely ever a need for anything other than a public tracker.

I'm not paranoid enough not to use public trackers. I hardly do but when i need something i can't find anywhere else i'll just grab it from a public tracker

Both, unfortunately, as my membership to various private trackers is currently limited.

Sometimes, content is just plain easier to find on public, even though I feel a little "grubby" downloading there. :) lol

I'm using private tracker mostly these days, because:

A. I believe they are more secure than public trackers
B. Speeds on private trackers can't compare to speeds of public trackers. They're waaay faster.

I just wish the copyright industry wasn't so ruthless in their attacks on public torrenting trackers, this gives private trackers an edge because they can share discretely. But I use public for my TV shows, since there's usually always a great quality version up of the big shows I watch. Private for my music because I'm a bit of an audiophile.
