First Footage from UE4-powered Dead Crusade

Recommended Posts

After the recently released handful of screenshots, we now have the first footage from the Unreal Engine 4-powered Dead Crusade, a co-op action horror game that takes place in medieval times, developed by Aesthetic Games Inc. The video shows the game off in both first and third-person perspectives, with the player setting fire to nests of rats, likely in an attempt to somewhat stem the deadly outbreak.
He then proceeds forward to impale one of the infected and skewer two others with a two-handed sword, before we see the Plague Doctor take down one of the undead with a crossbow; the clip ends with the two being confronted by a giant three-headed rat. Dead Crusade looks quite impressive graphically, and the gameplay and setting (fighting zombies etc across cities, countryside, and cemeteries in 14th century Europe) leaves us wanting more.
If this looks like your cup of tea as well, then don’t hesitate and proceed towards the project’s Kickstarter page to pledge your support.
