Nick and Vanessa Lachey have welcomed their baby girl.

The 41-year-old singer and his wife already have two-year-old son Camden together and in July they announced they were expecting a daughter.

Now the little one is finally here and Vanessa, 34, let fans know with a post on her blog, linked via Twitter.

"She's HERE!!!! Nick, Camden and I are SO excited to announce the birth of our sweet, beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey! She was born January 5th, 2015 at 5:17pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts," the proud mom writes.

"I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl. A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it's the day I would meet my best friend. I can't even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time. Mommy, Daddy and big brother Cam love you so much already, Brooklyn!

"Thank you to everyone for your love and support, it means so much to our family. (sic)"

Vanessa struggled with the "baby blues" after having Camden. She spoke openly about her experience and how it made her feel.

"No matter how many books you read, NOTHING prepares you better than the real thing. I felt lost, unloved, alone and at my wits end,' she shared in a blog post published in March 2013.

"I didn't feel like myself," she explained. "Where was the super woman who always thought and knew she could do it all? Where was the organized Vanessa who had it all under control no matter what the obstacle? She was gone, and I thought. forever. (sic)"
