Title: Requests

Hi All,

I have changed the number of days a filled request will be deleted from the site from 45 to 14. So when your request has been filled it will stay for another 14 days then automatically be deleted. At least that's the way it is supposed to work so we'll see.

Also, we need you to be more aware when posting requests so that staff and other members have an easier time time of filling your requests. So here are some things you can do for us to that end.

1. Please put an IMDB link in your request. Not all of us are familiar with every show and an IMDB link will help immensely. If there is not an IMDB link, then any site link showing us exactly what is wanted should be used. TVDB or Amazon or Wikipedia are good choices.

2. If your request covers multiple seasons of one show, please make a request for each season. Otherwise, if only a few get filled then you are in danger of losing the request to the 14 day deletion.

3. Please make sure your request is placed in the correct CATEGORY under the GLOBAL REGION it comes from.

Example: If you would like to request an animated show from the UK, your request will be placed in UK/Cartoon, Animated. Move to the UK section, and then down to Cartoon, Animated. That is where your request belongs. Not in UK TV.

Hope this is clear as any request not placed in the correct spot will eventually be deleted after we have advised you to place it correctly. Eventually we will try to fix this so that you are only able to place it in the category, but we will need a coder for that and as you know we do not have one. So the onus will fall on the requester to get it correct. Any questions, please ask any staff member.

I have also created a new category under Rules in the forum called Making Requests and this has been added there.
