RED - Rec Wars (new user recommendations + tokens)

There are two parts to this contest, prediction and voting.

In the first part, everyone is given the opportunity to predict the outcome of the rec war, in recwars.php. Each recommendation has been paired up with another recommendation, based on popularity of the release. For each pairing, select the recommendation you think will win. After you submit predictions for one round, you will be taken to the next round. There will be six rounds in this competition. Completion of all rounds is not required; however, all pairings must have one recommendation selected in order to submit your round prediction.

Each correct match pairing prediction will award you 1 point, which gives you a maximum of 64 points. The more rounds you play, the more points you have a chance of accumulating.

In the second part, users will vote on pairings, in poll.php. Voting for every pairing is not required, and you should choose the recommendation you like best. Round 1 voting occurs alongside the prediction period. Distribution of votes will remain hidden until the competition is over, but staff will give tallies and scores after each round. After each round ends, the scores are tallied and the next round begins.

Note: After each round, a post will be made in this thread with more information on where to vote and when the round ends, so be sure to subscribe.

After the final round of voting, everything is tallied up. The TM’s who recommended the top three releases and the top three users who predicted the most winners correctly will receive prizes.

Oh, and an extra bonus: 64 extra tokens, one for each rec! Feel free to spend them on whatever you want, provided it is below 2GB.
