About 20 USD and 24mbit unlimited.

Pretty good price, and the service is good. No problems in two years so far.

Mine is 26MBit unshared and paying 56 Euroes for it .. Sharing it with 2 of my brothers so I'm like paying nothing B)

I was wondering since there are lots of people from around the world on this board, how much do you pay your ISP and for what kind of connection (I mean home connection, not dedicated server or seed box) ?

My Details:

Connection I have:

- DL: 4Mbps

- UL: 0.30Kbps

- Price: $90 USD My Currency 300AED.

What about you ?

I'm in the same boat as Syed when it comes to paying exorbitant prices for internet connections AED 549 ~US$163 for a "16 Mbps connection which hits maybe 14 down 0.30 up. On the plus side at least its unlimited .

I pay about $33 a month for 10Mb down, .5Mb up.

My ISP is one of the first in the US to offer boradband and they used to go on about how revolutionary they were, but it's just now coming out of a crap period. When they began here in the mid 90s, speeds were unrestricted. Later the capped people at 1.5Mb and for an extra $10 a month you could get 2.5Mb. Thankfully, since competition has been rolling in from Mediacom and Windstream, we've seen it go from the 2.5Mb to 10Mb in the past year. The upload speed is still a joke, though. The FCC doesn't even define that as broadband, I believe.
