Is it arguable that the summer movie season this year really begins with the April 27 release of Avengers: Infinity War? Yes, maybe so, but we’ve gotta draw the line somewhere, and that line is May 1. Plus, there are still plenty of thrills, chills, laughs, cries, and WTFs to be had from all of the other summer movies 2018 has to offer, whether you’re looking for some mindless escapism or thought-provoking drama.
