iPad or Android

I'm thinking about buying an iPad2 or the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tab. Which one would be a better buy, an iPad pad, android tablet, or other? Considering price, features, etc.

If you already own a an iphone/ipod devices you can attest to how easy it is to operate and the user interface is top-notch. You can also jailbreak an ipad so technically you do not have to pay for EVERYTHING but only what you want.

If I was you I would go with the iPad 2 ios is simple and you cant beat the screen on the ipad over the Samsung and I don't know about the Samsung galaxy tablet but the acer tablet which also run on android cant play HD movies without lag

ipad definitely. i'm not sure what the situation is right now with the tablet apps on android store but a couple of months ago i remember a few articles that noted that only about 60 apps over there were designed specifically for tablet use. compared to 60 000 on the appstore. also that meant lots of apps were unstable and needed a lot more work to actually be usable on the android tablets.

Galaxy looks good - Samsung has been making really good electronics lately - they even brought back their Spinpoint hard drives!

The iPad is basically good but the feature services are a mess...
