Roseanne Barr may be plotting a comeback as the actress reveals she has received "many" offers to return to TV. Barr already had a monster hit on her hands after her classic sitcom Roseanne returned to ABC earlier this year, quickly receiving a pickup for a second season. But one tweet was all it took for Barr to end her own stunning comeback.

After vocal Trump supporter Barr tweeted a racist remark about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, ABC moved quickly to cancel the ratings giant Roseanne. The network later plotted a course for the show to return in spinoff form, but without Barr's involvement. Barr cut a deal with ABC to relinquish further financial involvement, clearing the way for The Conners, a new show focusing on the rest of Barr's former TV family.

Now as Barr seeks to rehabilitate her damaged image, the actress says she already has her own opportunity to return to television. Speaking on Rabbi Schmuley Boteach's podcast (via THR), Barr says she has received multiple offers and is mulling taking one of them. She said:

"I’ve already been offered so many things and I almost already accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it. But we’ll see."

After initially expressing defiance over her firing and the cancellation of her show, Barr has struck a much more remorseful tone in recent days. In her interview with Rabbi Schmuley she claims she struck the deal with ABC as an act of "penance" and because she didn't want to stand in the way of the cast and crew of Roseanne continuing to work. Barr also said she asked for nothing in return after signing away her rights, though media reports say Barr and ABC reached an undisclosed "settlement."

And what of the "many" offers Barr says she has received? The actress offers no specifics. However, there was a recent report of an adult film company offering Barr a porn role. Additionally, shortly after the cancellation of Roseanne, former Trump aide Michael Caputo expressed his desire to bring back Barr and her show as part of his online streaming startup. But with ABC pressing on with The Conners, there will be no return for Barr as her most iconic character. It's possible that some company with a certain political bent could seek to give the outspoken and controversial Roseanne Barr a new start in a new vehicle, with a chance to do whatever jokes she wishes.
